Designer Italian Bathrooms


Designers - Sandro Meneghello and Marco Paolelli
Sandro Meneghello and Marco Paolelli,
both born in 1979, graduated at the Politecnico
di Milano, Faculty of Design, in 2004, under the
guidance of Roberto Palomba and Paolo Rizzatto.
They separately gather different international
experiencies: from Central Saint Martins
College in London and Norwegian University
of Science&Technology in Trondheim to Köln
Kisd University and EDF R&B in Paris, before
starting their studio in Milan. Since 2005 they
have collaborated with several Italian and foreign
companies, including Antonio Lupi, Artceram,
Fima, Hidra and Kreaty. Their products have
been shown in different international fairs and
exhibitions: from New York to Las Vegas, Shanghai,
Mumbai, Berlin, London, Dubai, Milan, Bologna,
Paris, Rome, Valencia, Frankfurt and Moscow. “La
Fontana”, a column-system of integrated bathroom
design, was also chosen for I.DoT 2006/2007, an
exhibition that showcases the best products of
contemporary Italian design all over the world.
Miss by Hidra. Designers - Meneghello and Paolelli
Miss freestanding washbasin characterized by soft profiles, winding and surrounding surfaces. An ergonomic design inspired by nature and by the concept of seats. Miss is a user-friendly sink: the frontal surface is designed to receive feet and then models towards the upper part like a spoon in order to create a space for the washbasin. As Fluid and natural as water flowing also the column moves smoothly from the floor towards the upper part to generate the washbasin. Miss is made of Icetek Light in white colour, or in gold, silver and black gloss finish. available with floor or wall drain cm. 55 x 50 x 89.
